Cowboys for Kids Committee

My name is Eileen Sharp. I moved to New River AZ in 1973 as a child and was raised around horses and other livestock. Most of my younger years were spent showing horses and goats. As I got into high school I continued performing with my horses in barrel racing and also showed sheep, cattle, and rabbits. 

I was married in 1993 to Jerry Sharp, and we moved to Mayer AZ and raised 2 children. While assisting my husband with his horse training business, I continued to raise dairy and beef cattle on a small scale. Together we also continued competing in barrel racing professionally. 

I have a passion for keeping the lifestyle of farming/ranching and rodeo alive, sharing the experience and knowledge I have with the youth of today. I enjoy helping kids see the blessings and rewards of hard work, spiritually, physically, and mentally!

I look forward to building on the Cowboys for Kids program for the benefit of our kids for the future.
